These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The California Pot Company website and your purchase of products from our online store. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Product Information and Availability
We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of our handmade pottery. However, due to the nature of artisanal production, slight variations may occur. All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to discontinue items at any time.
3. Ordering and Payment
Orders can be placed through our online shop. Payment is due at the time of purchase, and we accept major credit cards and other payment methods listed at checkout. Prices are subject to change without notice.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We offer shipping within the United States. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the order’s weight and destination. We aim to process and ship orders within 3-5 business days. Delivery times may vary based on location.
Shipping Guarantee: Our team works hard to carefully pack your pottery items to ensure they arrive safely. However, if an item is damaged during shipping, we are happy to replace it with the following guidelines:
Email us within 5 days of receiving your damaged order to initiate your replacement.
Take photos of the damaged item(s) as well as the box and packaging, and email them to us at: dave@thecaliforniapotcompany.com.
5. Return Policy
The California Pot Company takes great pride in our quality and craftsmanship, and we hope you love your handmade pottery pieces for many years. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we accept returns under the following conditions:
We offer store credit only for returns; no refunds.
Returns must be in new condition with no signs of use or wear.
Returns must be made within 30 days of the date it was delivered.
Returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt, email order confirmation).
The California Pot Company does not cover the cost of return shipping, and no credit will be given for items broken during return shipping. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to pack return items carefully and ship via FedEx or UPS with insurance. (We are happy to give packing tips if needed!)
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
All personalized/customized pottery is made to order and is non-returnable and non-refundable.
"Oops" Pottery (Seconds) and Clearance Items are final sale, no returns or exchanges.
Any items that are damaged from use or general wear and tear are not returnable. All items must be returned in new condition.

7. Limitation of Liability
The California Pot Company is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of your order.
